

If you have a full VM that is destroyed regularly you would just have to make sure that machine wide license is part of the VM image and it should still pick up the license. Then if the machine wide deployment is in place the next user will get a license from the pool automatically. With the portable license the license is returned when the user shuts down or times out after 15 minutes if the machine is killed without a proper shutdown (you can also force release on the license portal). If you wish to deploy licensing on a machine wide level there are instructions for that on the deployment page of the website. While standalone licenses are not ideal for the setup you are talking about the portable license (especially on the system released last month) should handle this just fine. If you don't find this sufficient for non-persistent virtual desktops please elaborate what you would rather see happen and we'd be happy to look at it.
